Unafraid

Unafraid is about meeting something powerful without turning away. A woman holds the snake calmly beneath a crescent moon, surrounded by the strange stillness of a night landscape.

I drew, carved and printed every part of this image by hand. The scale gave me room to let the sky, the figure and the texture of the land breathe around one another.
